U.S. diesel fuel prices continue to decrease

The U.S. average retail price for on-highway diesel fuel fell to $2.42 a gallon on Monday. That’s down a tenth of a penny from a week ago, based on the weekly price survey by the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

Diesel prices were highest in the West Coast states at 2.73 a gallon, down 3-tenths of a penny from a week ago. Prices were lowest in the Gulf Coast states at 2.29 a gallon, down 6-tenths of a penny.
